It dries out
A helmet that goes away wet comes out smelling of the stable. A vent behind the zip — closed with hook-and-loop — lets the lining breathe after a ride, and closes again for transport or rain.
Three-layer protection, made under your brand
The shell is 600D Oxford with a thick waterproof backing, so rain, wet arena sand and tack-room damp do not soak through to the foam. Inside, a foam core wraps the base and all four sides and the bag is shaped to the helmet, so it holds its form in the boot or on the shelf instead of collapsing around the shell.
Two details do the real work in a yard. A vent behind the zip, closed with hook-and-loop, lets a wet helmet breathe after a ride — close it again for the trip home. And a clear ID window on the side takes a name card or competition number, so the right helmet always goes to the right rider.

Six photos of the current standard build. Every one of them is a decision a buyer usually has to ask about — here they are before you ask.
Every bag ships with your branding, not ours. The sample shown carries a screen-printed logo on the side face — that is the standard print position, and it is where most brands put their name.

A clear window on the side takes a name card or competition number. On a shared tack-room shelf or at the show, that is the difference between "someone's helmet" and yours.
Foam on the base and all four sides, and the bag is cut to the helmet profile. It stands up in the boot instead of folding around the shell, and a dropped bag does not pass the impact straight through.
"Waterproof" on a helmet bag usually means the outer shell and nothing else. Here is the whole stack, outside in, and which layer is doing the work.
The Oxford is the layer you see, and on its own it only resists water — a woven fabric wets out in steady rain. The backing is what makes the shell waterproof, and the foam sits behind it, so whatever gets wet stays on the outside.
That is the part worth specifying. Foam is the one layer you cannot dry out: wet foam goes flat, holds the stable smell, and stops cushioning the shell. Keeping it dry is the same job the vent does from the other direction.
